Welcome To San Francisco Tsunami Swim Club

Welcome to the web site of the San Francisco Tsunami Swim Team. We are a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight-friendly masters-level swim and synchronized swim teams. Our teams are comprised of people of all ages and skill levels, including individuals who would like to learn.

SF Tsunami is a member of International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Organization (IGLA). IGLA's purpose is to promote participation in aquatic sports by lesbian women, gay men and friends of our community. Gay Games, Cologne 2010

Gay Games 2010 will be hosted in Cologne, Germany, from July 31st through August 7th. If you have not experienced Gay Games, it is a wonderful week of athletic competition, exciting events and great friendship. Teams and individuals from all over the world come to support the values of diversity, tollerance and excellence.

You do not need to be Michael Phelps to go either! No matter your athletic ability, you can go and compete. So even if you’ve never swum in competition before or you are a multiple world record holder, there’s sure to be a place for you at Gay Games.

San Francisco Tsunami is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of adult, amateur swimming regardless of age, gender or sexual orientation. We provide and support our own community involvements such as donations and grants. In addition, your generosity enables us to provide assistance in sending our swimmers to competitions worldwide.
