Synchronized Swimming Skill-building Practices 2017

WHEN:
The Tsunami Synchronized Swimming Team will have skill-building practices on Wednesday nights (7:30-9:30pm) and Saturday mornings (9:30-11:30am) from November 15 to December 30. These practices are open to everyone! During these practices, the team will work on individual skill building. If you would like to learn the basics of synchronized swimming, we will also have 6 beginner classes from Nov 15 to Dec 2.

WHERE:
Each practice will be held at Martin Luther King Pool (5701 3rd St). (map)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Beginning swimmers will learn basic skills such as counting, egg beater, sculling, and introductory hybrids (upside down moves). Beginners will also incorporate these skills into a choreographed routine that will dazzle their friends! Experienced synchronized swimmers will practice technique with current team members.

COST:
There are two costs:

  1. USA Synchro Membership Dues – $15 for a 30-day membership, $50 for a 1-year non-competitive membership, or $100 for a 1-year competitive membership (which allows you to participate in competitions). See these instructions to purchase a USA Synchro membership.
  2. Tsunami Membership Dues – Free for the first practice. After that, either $15 per practice or $60 per month. If you already have a monthly Tsunami membership for lap swimming, then it will cover these practices too! See these instructions to purchase a Tsunami membership.
